The
Associated Motorways Group of Companies has indeed come a long
way since its inception four decades ago. It has grown considerably
in size and in the scope of its activity. In the context of the
liberalised economy that prevails in the country it can look forward
to a gainful future while continuing to play its part towards
the economic and social development of Sri Lanka.
It
is to the credit of the present and past management and particularly
the Directorates of various Companies that constitute this Group
that the original policies and ideals are being scrupulously observed.
This in itself is a fitting tribute to the genius of its illustrious
founder.
