AMW marked the spirit of Sri Lankan New Year with its vibrant Avurudu Gammanaya 2026, held on 9th May 2026 at Ape Gama Battaramulla. The event brought together staff members from across the organization for a day of tradition, unity, and festive celebration.
Rooted in the values of togetherness and cultural pride, the celebration featured a wide range of traditional Avurudu games and activities, including kana mutti, tug-of-war, pillow fights, lime spoon races, prince and princess and many more spirited competitions. The event created a lively atmosphere filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, and team bonding.
AMW leadership also joined the festivities, reinforcing the importance of employee engagement and cultural connection within the organization. The day served not only as a celebration of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year but also as an opportunity to strengthen camaraderie across teams in an informal and joyful setting.
